Abstract: The selection of airplanes for drowning life rescue is studied.The specifications of rescue airplanes, the specific conditions in South China Sea and characteristic of fetal accidents are analyzed and a set of indexes for the airplane selection is set up.The weights of each index are defined by means of entropy method.The candidate planes are ranked according to fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The ranking results are compared to that produced by expert evaluation, which shows they are in agreement.
