北极东北航道动态海冰冰情与风险指数结果研究

    Study on dynamic sea ice conditions and risk index outcome of the Arctic Northeast Passage

    • 摘要: 北极东北航道的通航性受到复杂海冰状况的严重影响,如海冰厚度、密集度等,为保障不同冰级船舶在北极航线上的航行安全,应尽可能地提前掌握航行风险,提供驾驶员直观的风险判断依据与辅助决策。根据北极海冰分析和预测数据,基于极地操作限制评估风险标引系统,全面计算各冰级船舶未来时段内的动态海冰风险指数,构建北极动态海冰数据预测模型,融合东北航道中纬航线推荐航线,动态呈现航线上的风险变化情况。试验表明,动态预测模型能够量化未来时段内整个北极水域的动态海冰冰情与风险指数结果,动态显示东北航道中纬航线推荐航线上的风险变化,为船舶航行风险评估和安全操作提供了预警和支持,满足了不同冰级船舶合理安排船期和航行计划的需求。

       

      Abstract: The navigability of the Arctic Northeast Passage is significantly affected by complex sea ice conditions,such as ice thickness and concentration. To ensure the safe navigation of vessels of various ice classes along Arctic routes,it is crucial to anticipate navigation risks and provide navigators with clear risk assessment data and decision-making support.Using Arctic sea ice analysis and forecast data,and based on the Polar Operational Limit Assessment Risk Indexing System(POLARIS),this study comprehensively calculates the dynamic sea ice risk index for vessels of different ice classes over future periods. It develops a dynamic Arctic sea ice data prediction model,integrating recommended mid-latitude routes for the Northeast Passage,to dynamically present changes in risk along these routes. Experimental results show that the dynamic prediction model can quantify the dynamic sea ice conditions and risk index throughout the Arctic region over future periods and dynamically display risk changes along the recommended mid-latitude routes of the Northeast Passage. This provides early warnings and support for navigation risk assessment and safe operations,meeting the needs of vessels with different ice classes for scheduling voyages and planning navigation.
