Abstract
The Weighted network topology model of inland waterways is built. The connections between nodes are weighed according to the navigable milage and the navigable level of the waterway. The methods to conduct Invulnerability analysis are introduced, including analytical method and attack simulation method. The betweenness-based optimization of inland water transport network is proposed. The network consisting of heigh grade waterways in Pearl River Delta is analyzed. The analysis indicates the weakness of the network against attack. Structure optimization of the network can significantly improve the invulnerability of the network and, meanwhile, lead to an efficiency gain over 10%.
